Nothing is free. Anything worth having is worth paying for. Most importantly; What is your website for? Who do you want to find it? How will they find it? I%26#039;m sure the free website has it limitations. Don%26#039;t just settle for one pagers - they aren%26#039;t professional! So, look at other similar websites and see what they are doing to get some ideas. If you%26#039;re interested I know of a company that builds websites for GREAT prices–email me.

As others have mentioned, there has to be a reason to visit the site once it is up. I know of popular blogs that review cosmetics, for example, and there may be a reason someone really wants to know about what your site offers them in terms of benefits for visiting the site. The advertising to make others aware of your site would most easily be done with a public relations campaign.

A %26quot;free website%26quot; means it%26#039;s already got all the sales text, etc. setup and ready to go. HOWEVER. You%26#039;ve still got to find a way to get visitors to the site. In other words, the legwork to get the word out is all on you. You%26#039;ll have to get it listed on yahoo, google, MSN, etc. You%26#039;ll have to find a way to get traffic to it or it%26#039;s useless.

Think of it this way. If you started an in-home business but didn%26#039;t advertise or even hang out a sign. All you did was tell your friends and relatives. Who would visit? Maybe the friends and relatives, once or twice. So what do you do? How do you get trafic? That%26#039;s the real work.

You always get what you pay for. With that said there are sites that give free websites like Blogger and others.

I built my first log for free on blogger and moved up once i got a good following.
