I am a music producer (myspace.com/pgc) and also a blogger (http://blog.myspace.com/761018)…
and I would like to know effective ways for me to promote the pages where I have my music and blogs. My music is a mix of a lot of stuff, and my blogs are kind of like hood journalism. Either one of those things I feel I have a firm grasp on, but I'm really clueless on marketing and promotion. Any and all help would be appreciated, also feel free to email me. Thanks

I used to work for Clear Channel a while back and they had a service for unsigned artists.

You might poke around their sight some more (www.clearchannel.com) but I did find one of their sites that allows you to enter a song in sort of a “contest” for around $20, or there are some ways you can enter for free. Nonetheless, they do have services for you and anybody else that wants some exposure of there music. The Clear Channel sight you might check out is http://www.garageband.com/upload/contest…
