For check-in:
-Be prepared to pay the bill in advance, or hold the room on your credit card. This doesn't apply if your company is picking up the tab.
-It is usually an industry standart to have check-in after 3pm. If your room is not guaranteed with a card, they may cancel your reservation after 6pm on a sold-out day.
-Make sure to cancel your reservation before 6pm the day of arrival, otherwise you'll be hit with paying for 1 night for a no-show.

For check-out:
-Most hotels offer express check-out for customers who use a credit card. You may also be able to check-out over your in room TV system, depending on the hotel set-up.
-If you cannot get your bill under your door and must have it printed out, or if you have a dispute, you will have to stop at the front desk. Make sure to give yourself enough time in case there is a line of customers waiting.
