Everyday I receive telemarketers calls, one being an OUT OF AREA on caller id, what can I do to stop this one call? usually I anwser and its a pre- played voice on the other line. ive signed up for the donotcall list already.

Here is a method to stop automatic calls:
As soon as you receive the call, press # button 7 times in rapid succession. It sends a message to their computer and it stops your number being registered as a valid one. It automatically removes your name.
In future, if you get calls from a live telemarketer and you want to stop it, tell them DNC - do not call. It is the law that they have to remove your name and number from their database once a request is made. That does not guarantee that other databses will also remove your name. So you may have to be persistent.
On the other hand, think about it: Telemarketers are doing their job. If you are that person, you will find it very frustrating that you cannot earn your living this way if everyone wants their name removed. I normally listen to them and politely tell them whether I want their services or not. Usually they are not aggressive. At least, you can be nice on the phone. It does not hurt.
After all, these people are students, or newcomers to the country - low wages and trying to make a few bucks to put them thru school. Think of that before you get rude with them.
