I will be graduate from a massive, honestly competitive university near a BA within communication. I own a 3.5 gpa and hold done 2 marketing internships. Including one in the marketing communications department of a Fortune 500 company. Should I be concerned in the region of finding an entry plane marketing, financial advisor, or sale position upon graduation? Or what other career would suit my point and earn some wearing clothes coin? Preferably in a colossal city NYC, Boston, L.A.

A Financial Advisor position is to a certain extent smooth to come by. In NYC near is AXA, Smith Barney, Morgan Stanley etc.. To become a Financial Advisor (atleast the process I go though when I looked into it) is you turn for a preliminary interview they convey you more or less the company and what is expected of you. You than nick a math testing which involves discounts on premiums, interest etc.. If you overrun and are still interested you come posterior for a phone interview. You name into an outside company and you run through scenario of trying to market them something. If you leave behind that you enjoy an interview near the hiring superintendent who will want to see your marketing plan etc.. At the finish of the morning although you work for a company you are working on your own and marketing is really celebrated.

Marketing is for a while more difficult to draw from into and does not payment fairly as very well. NYC, Boston and LA are homes to the big promotion firms, which foot a short time better than marketing. I grew up in Boston and lived here for 25 years and immediately live surrounded by Jersey so I know the marketplace surrounded by Boston and Jersey (NYC) is competitive for any undertaking.

If you want to receive into Sales, I recommend Pharmacutical sale. Many of the foremost drug companies are located within New Jersey (a short ride from NYC) and foot slightly okay. You will spend your light of day visit doctors recounting them almost exotic drugs, studies etc..
