Question:
George W. Bush has spoken repeatedly about the need for "more sacrifice" and "greater sacrifice" from the American people in order to win the "War on Terror" and be successful in Iraq.

But in contrast to most other times of war, which have generally characterized by tax increases and other forms of shared sacrifice, the Bush administration has given the richest Americans some pretty hefty perks, such as tax cuts.

So, after this last tax cut bill was passed, I was just curious - what sacrifices *have* the rich, as a class, been called to make? Or what sacrifices have they willingly taken on themselves? I'm sure there must be *some* out there who still know what "noblesse oblige" is all about…?

Answer:
I don't understand all the hype about tax cuts. And why democrats are so opposed to big businesses. Before you go calling me names, let me ask you a question. Who hires people? (Big busines). Who gives insurance benefits to employees and families? (Big business). Who has 401Ks for retirement? (Big businesses). So if they are hiring Americans, providing them with health insurance and retirement options, what is so freaking wrong with giving them a freaking tax break so that they can hire even more Americans? But no, the democrats want none of that. They want the jobs in Mexico and China and the American people unemployed with no health or retirement so that they can whine about tax breaks for the rich.

The SACRIFICE Bush is asking for touches everyone! Rich or poor, we are Americans. The rich are subjected to phone tapping. The rich have sons and daughters fighting in Iran and Afghanistan. The rich felt the pain of 9/11. And by the way, show me one single poor democrat in the senate or in congress. They are all millionaires.
