Some times it is marked on individual store items. Does the manufacturer, distributor, store, (or all) use this?
Answer:
SKUs are used by all levels you mentioned. It depends on the item, on who is more likely to put it on (manufacturer, distributor). Stores do not create their own that often, they use the ones already created.
