Question:
some girl on here had a problem and people told her to call OSHA…what is that exactly?

Answer:
OSHA is the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. OSHA enforces workplace safety laws at private companies and employers. The federal Department of Labor adminsters the act that created OSHA, however 21 states have their own OSH plan so technically OSHA does not enforce the law in those states.

Go to www.osha.gov for more information, including whether your state is an OSHA state or has an approved state plan.
