Question:
what are the rights of ohio home buyers who waive a home inspection?

Answer:
Being a mortgage banker and seeing many people buy homes without getting an inspection done, i can honestly say that if you are too cheap to get one, then you should not be buying a home. Let's think about this for a minute. This is a home. You are going to be living in this place, as well as have your name tied to it. If something unforeseen happens, it is going to be ALL ON YOU.

The lender is NOT responsible for ordering a home inspection, although your Realtor could help you out with this, but it is not their responsibility either. It is yours.

If you do not get a home inspection done prior to the purchase of the property, then you have waived your rights and everything would be one you.

If you are considering buying a home without one of these, i would highly suggest that you reconsider this right.

Good luck!
